Creating art is a challenging and exciting journey I am compelled to take –an adventure filled with decisions to be made, problems to be solved and opportunities to travel paths never before taken. When expressing my journey through paint on canvas or paper, I am consumed by the process which

usually results in a sense of joy, accomplishment and satisfaction.

I consider all my work “experimental”. The subject can be simply color or texture combined in an interesting way, realism of a place visited or a face met, or praising angels inspired by my special needs daughter. Whatever the subject, the methods and materials easily present themselves. Like most exciting journeys, mine is not without a plethora of risk and rewards. And, I can hardly wait to take the next trip.
